We have a continuous improvement mindset and we recently attained SQF Level II certification specifically at our 152 Kennedy Road facility (our main Food Ingredients hub). What is SQF? The SQF program stands for Safe Quality Food and this program is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). These platforms are really all about standardized food safety and quality initiatives across many countries. One World. One Standard.
GFSI standards are being demanded by North American Food Retailers and, as a result, our Food customers typically need to meet GFSI standards, such as SQF certification. Our Brampton facility on Kennedy Road is dedicated to the storage and packaging of food and pharmaceutical grade products. As an ingredient distributor, CCC Ingredients is an important part of that supply chain and we determined that it was a priority to attain SQF certification to ensure that our customers have utmost confidence in our quality practices and to allow them to streamline quality standards within their supply chain. We are committed to quality.
In addition to SQF, all of our facilities operate under Responsible Distribution® and we are also ISO9001 certified. Beyond our Brampton facility, we distribute products throughout Canada in a responsible and appropriate manner to all of our Ingredients customers. All of our Ingredients products are lot tracked through our warehouse management system, at each of our facilities, so if a quality issue were to arise, we can manage the issue in a speedy and effective manner.
